NEW CLIENT FILL:
My door is open to those who have had their lashes done elsewhere but wish to book their next fill at SG Beauty. YAY! I’m honored
Please follow the guidelines below:
STEP 1: BOOK A CONSULTATION. (Cannot be booked on the same day as the fill appointment). During the consultation, I will see what we are working with & if you're able to receive a fill.
If not, we will move forward with a removal & full set. If yes, then:
STEP 2: Book an ‘Extended Fill’ Appointment. This gives me time to mesh together two different artists' work. Please keep in mind every lash artist has a different skill level & design - It may take a few fill appointments to get you to where you want to be! (Must be flexible with the outcome of the first few fills - especially if there is damage from previous lash application/maintenance).
*Note: You may book both of these appointments before you come in for the consult, but I suggest booking them (at least) 2 days apart - So if you are unable to receive a fill, you can avoid being charged the 24 hour cancellation fee.
Keep in mind, with the purchase of a Full Set at SG Beauty you receive a FREE Lash Extension REMOVAL (Org. $50) & a FREE Lash Aftercare Kit (Org. $35).
you may be wondering, ‘Why would I not be able to receive a fill?’
I am unable to fill you if:
Majority of lashes have grown out too far off the lash line - I cannot keep these lashes as part of the fill because 1. They will put too much weight on the middle of that natural lash as they continue to grow out (which will cause weight on the lashes where there isn’t supposed to be any, resulting in natural lash damage). 2. When they continue to grow out even more, they will start to twist and turn (which usually causes discomfort and unflattering look). 3. These lashes will also be nearly impossible to ‘blend’ with the new applied extensions.
You do not have enough lashes for it to be considered a fill - A full set application means 90-100% coverage, so that as time passes when you naturally shed/lose 2-5 lashes a day, those are replace during your next fill to keep them full. If we apply lashes in the fill time frame only getting you to 50%-40% full, when you lose lashes - you’ll have very little left by the time you come back for your next fill. You will not be getting your moneys worth, & you (& me both) will not be happy with the overall result. This will put us in a cycle of half full lashes, to almost no lashes every 1.5 weeks. My policies are in place so that your investment is protected by having flawless lashes up until your next fill. Our lashes should never look like they ‘need a fill’ just a little less full.
You have too many ‘stickies’ - This means your lashes are all glue together. Either your natural lashes are glue together, lash extensions are stuck together, or both simultaneously (which is usually the case). If they are all glue together there is a 99% chance there is damaged and these lashes need TLC. Some stickies are able to get unstuck while some need lash adheseive (glue) remover applied to get them free. From my personal experience and professional standpoint, this typically happens if your previous appointments were shorter time frames but you left ‘full’. Proper isolation takes time and complete stillness. If you ‘never shed lashes’ or have ’really good retention’ this *might* be a good indication they are stuck to other extensions.
Current extensions are too heavy for your natural lashes - If they are too heavy, it will damage their growth. Natural lashes are supposed to grow like nothing is on them! This will lead to weak and premature falling out natural lashes. I need every lash I can get to give you a full, beautiful long lasting set. While you are in my studio, I refuse to contribute to this lash damage (just for money). Please respect my number one priority will be getting your lashes happy and healthy again. This may take time and your lashes will probably need a lighter weight of extensions until they can grow healthy and strong again. I’ve seen this EVERY single time I’ve gotten a new client fill, which is exactly why I have had to put these policies in place. It’s is rewarding to have completely transformed clients’ lashes, while maintaining extensions the entire time. Trust the process - I promise you we both want the same healthy, flattering outcome!
